Paul Kalinauckas our candidate in last years general Election has posted message about the Coop Party
Co-operation is big on the agenda nowadays. The government is even legislating to force certain agencies funded with public money to "co-operate". For those of us who are naturally co-operative by nature there is a welcome home in the Co-operative Party, the sister party of the Labour Party and the fourth largest political party in Parliament with 29 Labour & Co-op MPs. How about setting up a South Staffordshire branch of the Co-op Party. There used to be one and it would be great to resurrect it with new members prepared to promote the co-operative agenda. More information is available on www.party.coop where you can find details of local parties under the Members section which is headed Midcounties WM.

Get it off your chest
Welcome to the South Staffs Labour Blog. This is the place were Labour Party Members and Labour Supporters can say whatever they want. Go on - get it off your chest. We can start with an idea, see who's interested and develop a policy. Why not use our Blog to put in policy ideas that can be submitted to the Constituency Executive Committee or the District Council and County Council Labour Groups. Why not start by getting support for a resolution to Annual Conference. This is your Blog, your open space, your forum, your opportunity to get involved. Let's do it.
